Digital transformation of the furniture industry: evolution towards Industry 4.0
Description
Use and apply work methodologies, tools, and techniques that enable the management, development, and digitalisation of companies in the furniture sector within the framework of Industry 4.0.
COURSE CONTENT:
Module 1. Materials and Processes – Objective: to select and apply materials with new properties that enable the development of products with new specifications; to use new tools for product design processes within the context of business digitalisation; and to understand and apply new concepts in the management and organisation of a digitalised company.
Module 2. Quality Systems. Environmental Aspects and Regulations – Objective: to implement a quality management system in companies in accordance with existing quality and environmental regulations; to work with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, their content and practical application in the company; and to develop a quality system based on standard specifications.
Module 3. Management Skills – Objective: to manage and lead people in companies operating in line with the Industry 4.0 philosophy.
Module 4. Software for Process Management and Product Design – Objective: to use and handle tools that support the digitalisation of companies in both design and business management and organisation; to use design software in the development of new products.
