Description

The Department of Automation Engineering at the University of West Attica offers a comprehensive undergraduate programme focused on automation technologies, control systems, and intelligent infrastructures. The curriculum combines theoretical and practical training, preparing students to design, implement, and optimise automation solutions in industrial and smart building environments. The curriculum encompasses theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various technologies, including electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, chemical, and biological systems. Students gain in-depth understanding of system structures and operations, with particular emphasis on areas such as robotics, CNC machine tools, industrial data collection and processing networks, and intelligent control systems. The programme also provides extensive training in computer systems and software, highlighting industrial informatics.
