Design and 3D printing of prototypes

Design and print different 3D prototypes using various materials, design techniques, digital design tools, and scanning methods. COURSE CONTENT: Module 1. 3D Printing – Objective: to identify the application fields of 3D printing and the use of these techniques, understanding the different printing technologies. Module 2. Design and 3D Printing of Prototypes – Objective: to design parts using the most suitable and efficient design software for the 3D printing system, complying with the quality standards required for this type of component. Module 3. Assembly, Printing, and Validation of Tests – Objective: to identify components and independently assemble 3D printers in order to produce a variety of parts with specific materials, ensuring quality and safety.

Digital transformation of the furniture industry: evolution towards Industry 4.0

Use and apply work methodologies, tools, and techniques that enable the management, development, and digitalisation of companies in the furniture sector within the framework of Industry 4.0. COURSE CONTENT: Module 1. Materials and Processes – Objective: to select and apply materials with new properties that enable the development of products with new specifications; to use new tools for product design processes within the context of business digitalisation; and to understand and apply new concepts in the management and organisation of a digitalised company. Module 2. Quality Systems. Environmental Aspects and Regulations – Objective: to implement a quality management system in companies in accordance with existing quality and environmental regulations; to work with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, their content and practical application in the company; and to develop a quality system based on standard specifications. Module 3. Management Skills – Objective: to manage and lead people in companies operating in line with the Industry 4.0 philosophy. Module 4. Software for Process Management and Product Design – Objective: to use and handle tools that support the digitalisation of companies in both design and business management and organisation; to use design software in the development of new products.

Information Technology and Systems Management (Bachelor)

MultimediaArt is where art meets communication and aesthetics meet functionality. Be it in film, magazines, online, through ads, or in video games: we see multimedia design solutions every day. In the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies, where graphics, moving images, interaction, and audio all come together, students will become a creatively confident and networked designer.

Cyber Security (Master)

Cyber security has become massively more important in recent years. Companies are increasingly exposed to threats and many have already fallen victim to hacker attacks. In addition to comprehensive technical measures, people are still one of the biggest weak points in cyber attacks. The loss of data can be life-threatening. This is why securing IT systems is a key task for companies. Operational security is at the heart of our IT training. In addition to knowledge about processes and strategies for protecting critical data and infrastructure, the course focuses on broad, well-founded and, above all, practical training. At the heart of this is the central attack defense simulation, which is intensively supervised in small groups.

Green Engineering (Bachelor)

Green Engineering* is a degree programme scheduled to start in the winter semester of 2026/27. Green Engineering combines engineering fundamentals with business management expertise and a deep understanding of ecological interrelationships. Through numerous professional internships, practical examples from industry and interdisciplinary project work, what students learn is directly transferred into practice.
