ALLVIEW MOOC Tool
The current state of knowledge from Circular Economy (CE), Industry 4.0 (I4.0), Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) shows that the existing curricula at each educational level (EQF 4, 5 and 6) have different knowledge gaps. The identified current knowledge level is the average of the participating EU countries, which means that some countries are above and some are below the average. In addition to MOOCs and learning content from other specialised projects, the ALLVIEW project is a major contributor to the learning content of CE, I4.0 and AAL, which is also translated into several languages (Slovenian, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, German, Polish and French) and is available on this online training platform. If you are willing to reskill or upskill yourself about CE, I 4.0, AAL or CSR, do not miss this opportunity! The ALLVIEW team wish you fruitful learning to meet your career goals with state-of-the-art training materials.

Hydroden Summer School
The 2nd Hydrogen Summer School is designed to provide reskilling and upskilling opportunities for both students and professionals, with a fovus on the international hydrogen sector. This initiative is part of the European project “Green Skills for Hydrogen”, organized by the Bioeconomy and Environmental Cluster of Western Macedonia and Advent Technologies, in partnership with the Univercity of Western Macedonia. This program will offer participants the chance to enhance their understanding and expertise in hydrogen technologies, covering the entire value chain. The objectives of the Program are: 1.Trainning, reskilling and upskilling participants by offerring a comprehensive understanding of hydrogen technologies related to production, storage, usage and safety, as well as its applications, benefits and potential role in the energy transition. 2.Trainees will develop the ability to recognize, evaluate, and identify hydrogen technologies and practical applications. 3.Acquiring critical skills in evaluation, questioning, analysis, and interpretation to solve complex and unpredictable problems in line with the continuously evolving hydrogen sector. 4.Building a team consisting of researchers, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals, centered on adopting hydrogen technologies and innovations.
Academy for Environmental Trainers
The Environmental Trainers Academy is a 4-day intensive “Train the Trainer” course, organised by the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE) that aims at establishing an innovative and forward-thinking paradigm for environmental education in Greece. The programme is tailored to train education providers in the field of Environmental Education. This initiative aims to empower participants with the essential competencies and skills to organise and implement environmental education activities, though a series of intensive workshops and multidisciplinary lectures. What is more, the Academy, though its activities cultivates active participation in decision-making processes, though promoting active participation in the Climate Community of Western Macedonia activities.
Training Course on Circular Economy
This training course provides the necessary knowledge and skills for a comprehensive understanding of the concept of Circular Economy and its principles. Furthermore, it enables the comprehension of the fundamental characteristics of the circular model and the potential transition from a linear system to a circular one. Specifically, it outlines the application of Circular Economy across various stages of a product’s lifecycle and the circular business model. Additionally, it examines the applications of the circular model in the primary sector and the national strategy for developing Circular Economy in Greece. Lastly, it places particular emphasis on the protection of the ecosystem, nature, and the biodiversity of the region.
Upskilling & Reskilling Programs in High Demand Sectors with Emphasis on Digital & “Green” Skills
This programme aims to provide theoretical training to unemployed adults in acquiring digital and green skills in the field of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and more specifically in RES applications for energy needs of buildings. The “Renewable Energy Systems Technician” programme at IEK Volteros trains professionals in the installation and maintenance of systems such as photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, geothermal, and solar thermal systems.
Circular Economy
The current linear economic model generates a number of problems such as resource consumption, climate change, loss of biodiversity, etc., the solution of which is postponed to future generations. A “business as usual” leads to existential crises in the foreseeable future. The transition to a circular economy represents a solution approach that has been discussed for decades (cf. Club of Rome) and is currently experiencing increased political relevance.
