DÉDALO, Training Programme on Digital Strategies with a Human Vision

Overview
In an increasingly digital and fast-evolving business environment, organizations must adapt quickly to remain competitive and relevant. Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are transforming how companies operate, make decisions, and manage resources. However, true competitive advantage lies in people—leaders who not only understand the potential of technology, but also know how to integrate it ethically and humanely within their organizations.

Now in its fifth edition, DÉDALO is a leadership program held in Spain, designed to offer participants a deep understanding of innovative digital strategies, while promoting leadership rooted in human values, ethical change management, and inclusive practices.

Through a comprehensive and hands-on approach, the program prepares executives to lead digital transformation with purpose, agility, and responsibility. It emphasizes social integration, diversity, and equality as essential pillars of sustainable and responsible leadership.

DÉDALO equips leaders with the tools, judgment, and vision needed to address the challenges of the digital age, ensuring that technological advancement aligns with the principles of equity, sustainability, and positive social impact.
Objectives
Main objective of the practice:
The core aim of the program is to train leaders capable of integrating technology with strategic vision, human purpose, and ethical responsibility, enabling them to anticipate and lead change in a rapidly evolving digital environment while generating positive and sustainable impact.

How it helps underrepresented groups access work-based learning:
The program promotes people-centered innovation and a culture of inclusive leadership, making it easier for underrepresented groups to engage in work-based learning. By focusing on real human needs and fostering solutions with social impact, it creates an environment aligned with values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

How it reduces barriers to participation in learning and vocational training:
With its practical, ethical approach and focus on purpose-driven leadership, the program offers accessible, relevant tools for professionals from diverse backgrounds. This helps overcome barriers such as limited prior experience with technology or restricted access to specialized training, thereby promoting more equitable participation in digital transformation-related learning and professional development.
Implementation
The DÉDALO program, led by AEICE (Efficient Habitat Cluster), focuses on training leaders who can ethically and humanely integrate technology into their organizations. The program promotes social inclusion, diversity, and equity through an accessible approach designed for professionals from diverse backgrounds, including those with little prior experience in advanced technologies. It also encourages the active participation of underrepresented groups and SMEs, particularly in rural areas, fostering their inclusion in work-based learning (WBL).

Partnerships with key stakeholders such as vocational training centers, local entities, businesses, and public administrations are essential for the program's implementation. These collaborations ensure practical training that addresses real-world challenges, promoting innovation and sustainability. The program is carried out in several regions of Castilla y León, promoting territorial equity and making high-level training accessible to more professionals.

Through practical workshops and collaborative projects, participants apply their learning directly to their workplaces, solving problems with social impact while aligning with the principles of equity and sustainability.
