𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?

𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎 (European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations) is an European Commission initiative that provides a common language for the world of work and education by mapping skills, qualifications, and occupations in a standardized way across Europe.
It is a key tool for enhancing labour mobility, supporting workforce reskilling, and improving the match between supply and demand of skills – benefiting individuals, companies, and institutions alike.

Within the European project 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, ESCO plays a central role in several innovative tools currently in development, including the Micro-credentials Certification Center and the SMART Career Guidance Assistant. These tools are powered by data from the 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 that feeds the 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 and the 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐨𝐛𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬.

Integrating ESCO into these solutions enables more precise analysis of the skills of (future) workers and how they align with local and sustainable labour market demands – ultimately promoting mobility, employability, and skilled integration within the 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫.
