At the heart of this is the central attack defense simulation, which is intensively supervised in small groups.
Smart Buildings in Smart Cities (Master)
Efficient, progressive, social, and sustainable – the demands of future-proof cities are high. The Master’s degree in Smart Buildings in Smart Cities deals with the contribution that smart buildings can make to these kinds of modern cities. A special focus is placed on the interaction between technology and energy with nature, humans, and the environment. At Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, students will be trained as a networked engineer and will develop promising solutions for complex problems in building and city planning.
Advanced Technician in Energy Efficiency and Solar Thermal Energy
The general competence of this qualification consists of assessing the efficiency of energy and water installations in buildings, providing technical support for the energy performance rating and certification process of buildings, and designing solar thermal installations, managing their installation and maintenance under conditions of safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
Advanced Technician in Water Management
The general competence of this qualification consists of managing the efficient use of water by organising and carrying out the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of water networks and treatment plants, applying quality requirements for both the installations and the water, as well as occupational health and safety measures and environmental protection requirements in accordance with current regulations.
Specialization Course: Building Information Modeling (BIM)
The general competence of this specialization course consists of developing and modeling the graphical and non-graphical information of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) projects under the BIM methodology in its different dimensions, as well as collaborating in project processes, in compliance with client requirements (EIR, Employer’s Information Requirements) and the specifications set out in the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), among others.

The general competence of this specialization course consists of auditing and advising on the use and consumption of energy and the associated costs in buildings, facilities, or industrial or commercial operations, as well as transport linked to private or public activities or services, with the aim of identifying and reporting on energy flows and their potential for improvement.
Advanced Technician in Renewable Energy
The general competence of this qualification consists of coordinating the assembly, commissioning, and management of the operation and maintenance of wind energy farms and installations; promoting installations; developing projects; and managing and carrying out the assembly and maintenance of photovoltaic solar installations, as well as managing and supervising the assembly and maintenance and performing first-level operation and maintenance of electrical substations.
Advanced Technician in Design and Furnishing
The general competence of this qualification consists of designing furniture and carpentry elements, managing their production and installation, and participating in the maintenance of quality assurance, environmental protection, and occupational risk prevention systems.
