BIM methodology: the construction phase

Course aimed at gaining a comprehensive overview of BIM methodology during the construction phase, covering model generation and coordination, conflict detection, and cost and schedule control of works.

BIM methodology: BIM ecosystems and workflows

Course aimed at understanding BIM ecosystems, collaborative workflows and the applications of BIM alongside other technologies, analysing their impact on industrialisation, quality and project information management.

Industrialised construction

Course aimed at understanding what industrialised construction is, its types, advantages and associated technologies, analysing the relationship between industrialisation, digitalisation and the evolution of construction processes.

High-performance façade systems: STRUCTURA‑GHAS and SATE

Course designed to provide an understanding of the high-performance façade systems STRUCTURA‑GHAS and SATE, covering their characteristics, components and construction processes for improving the thermal and energy performance of buildings.

Accessibility in building

This course aims to provide an understanding of the principles of accessibility in building design, covering universal design, DALCO requirements and the current regulatory framework, with the aim of ensuring buildings are accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Passive measures for the energy refurbishment of buildings

Course aimed at identifying the main passive measures applicable to the energy refurbishment of buildings, such as increasing insulation, improving openings, reducing air infiltration and making use of natural light to reduce energy demand.

Moisture protection on façades

Course aimed at understanding the different types of damp affecting façades, their causes and manifestations, as well as the construction solutions and maintenance operations required to ensure the durability and watertightness of building envelopes.

Moisture protection on roofs

Course designed to provide an understanding of the main moisture-related issues affecting roofs, the components of roofs, and the appropriate construction treatments for specific areas to ensure the protection and proper performance of the roof.
