Facilitating the integration of all elements of the organisation without exception; alignment of the organisational culture.
Identifying the needs of each employee, e.g. foreign employees are immediately referred to PLA (Portuguese for foreigners) classes to facilitate integration and communication in our community.

Implementation
The academy was born out of the need to bring the organisation into line with the values related to training employees, investing in their qualifications and skills. Specifically for the most disadvantaged groups (migrants), we believe that the learning of the Portuguese language by everyone in the organisation promotes their social integration and facilitates communication within the organisation.
Innovative features
Digital learning tools to improve access, Uses technology to improve access.
Success stories
We have employees from Nepal and India who liaise/communicate with their colleagues and managers in Portuguese.
Measured outcomes
Improved communication and consequently the performance of their daily tasks
Challenges and lessons learned
There used to be a great deal of difficulty in communicating, the passing on of know-how failed by the people who really had it because they couldn't express themselves with this group of employees. This action by the Portuguese classes has broken down some barriers, facilitating the transmission of knowledge/methods.
