The Skills Intelligence Monitoring System (𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗦) seeks to provide up-to-date intelligence on the Skills Ecosystem, aligning VET offering with labour market needs, enabling new learning pathways, and supporting career guidance and workforce mobility in the Habitat Sector. 🏡
During the first year of the SIMS, the HABITABLE project consortium decided to focus on two key areas: 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆.

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀: 208 skills and competences related to 33 occupations.
☑️ TOP 3 most repeated skills: Integrate building requirements in the architectural design (1st); Create solutions to problems, Develop architectural plans and Install construction profiles (2nd); Check compatibility of materials (3rd).𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀: 96 trainings, 312 skills and competences related to 74 occupations.
☑️ TOP 3 most repeated skills: Use technical drawing software (1st); Adjust engineering designs (2nd); Operate 3D computer graphics software (3rd).With the training courses identified, the partnership managed to cover 277 skills of those identified as necessary, leaving only 69 to be covered (gaps).
👉 Insights related to the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 area:
𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀: 184 skills and competences related to 33 occupations.
☑️ TOP 3 most repeated skills: Assess environmental impact and Assess the life cycle of resources (1st); Ensure compliance with environmental legislation,
Promote environmental awareness and Use sustainable materials and components (2nd); Advise on carbon emissions reduction, Advise on sustainability solutions and Mitigate waste of resources (3rd).𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀: 99 trainings, 204 skills and competences related to 69 occupations.
☑️ TOP 3 most repeated skills: Advise on sustainability solutions (1st); Adjust engineering designs and Use sustainable materials and components (2nd); Advise on sustainable management policies (3rd).For the Green Transition in the Manufacturing Industry area, the training offers identified provide full coverage of all the skills deemed necessary in the initial assessment.
