MultiMediaTechnology (Master)

Description

The Master's programme MultiMediaTechnology is an advanced course in applied computer science and software development tailored to the requirements of today's rapidly evolving digital landscape. It is a part-time programme lasting four semesters. Lectures are held on Mondays, Tuesdays all day and Friday afternoons (+Saturday mornings in rare cases). The programme is not directly tailored to the Habitat skills ecosystem, but the content can also be used very well in this area. There are two specialisations, Game & Simulation Engineering and Web Engineering.
Game & Simulation Engineering covers topics such as applied games, which are not (only) designed for entertainment purposes, but (also) have other functions such as education or training aspects, physics-based simulation, AI for games, cross-platform development and more. Web Engineering deals with topics such as web performance optimisation, front-end engineering, data engineering, software quality assurance and more.
The programme uses and teaches innovative technologies such as lightning talks and innovation workshops, Rapid Prototyping, AI, Mixed Reality, physics-based simulation, Deep Learning, etc.
